AREAS OF STUDY
The faculty and curricula of the University are organized into one college and thirteen schools. Open to undergraduates are the College of Liberal Arts, the schools of Accountancy, Applied Sciences, Business Administration, Education and Engineering, all located on the Oxford campus. The School of Law and the Graduate School, also on the Oxford campus, require at least a baccalaureate degree for admission.

The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi is the health sciences campus of the University of Mississippi. For programs that are a part of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, preference is given to applicants who are legal residents of the state of Mississippi. In recent years, it has not been possible to admit nonresidents to certain degree programs.
Admissions to the University of Mississippi Medical Center are processed by each of the separate schools at the Jackson Campus. Please refer to the relevant school section for additional information.
