This year, the Mississippi Association of International Educators (MAIE) held its annual state conference on February 16 and 17 at the Hilton-Jackson Convention Center in Jackson.
The two day conference began with a luncheon and keynote address on Thursday, February 16. This year's keynote address was given by Hillman T. Frazier, Mississippi State Senator. His presentation will address Mississippi's role in international development.
In addition to the keynote address, there were a variety of presentations on immigration, regulatory, and programming issues, including:

--Pre-Arrival Information and New Student Orientation, Jean Robinson, University of Mississippi and Barbara Whitt Jackson, University of Southern Mississippi

--Roundtable Discussions on Study Abroad, International Admissions, and Immigration Student Services
