On June 21, 2005, MAIE held a special F-1 Workshop to cover international student basics. This workshop offered participants the basic information needed for hosting F-1 status international students. It was geared toward high school and community college advisors, and drew a large number of advisors from accross the state.
The event was hosted by Jackson State University in the H.T. Sampson Library. Many thanks go to Kathy Sims and the staff of the Division of International Studies at Jackson State University for hosting such a wonderful event.
